Codeword Unlimited is an application designed for playing the popular word game known as Codeword (also referred to as Cipher crosswords).
 
For individuals unfamiliar with Codeword puzzles, they present a grid of words similar to a traditional crossword. However, there are no clues; instead, a few initial letters are provided along with a number in each square to indicate its unknown letter. Each square with the same number must use the same letter. Through this information and the initial letters provided, players can deduce which words will fit in the boxes, essentially deciphering the numbers into letters to unveil hidden words. Typically, all 26 letters of the alphabet are utilized in the codeword but not always. Unused letters are crossed out on the keyboard.

<li>Receive alerts when a word in the grid doesn't match the word list used for generating codewords, saving time and avoiding frustrations.</li>
<li>Utilize an on-screen keyboard for enhanced playing convenience.</li>
<li>View definitions of completed words, beneficial for learning new vocabulary or languages (internet connection required).</li>
<li>Select from a wide array of downloadable dictionaries for your preferred word list language with 26 languages currently available.</li>
<li>Play in portrait or landscape mode seamlessly by rotating your mobile device.</li>

In comparison to similar applications that charge for additional codewords, Codeword Unlimited offers endless puzzles completely free of charge.

Each game is categorized by difficulty level from 0 (easy) to 9 (very hard), based on specific settings. High scores are maintained for each difficulty level, tracking the fastest completion times for each game. The top 20 scores for each difficulty level are displayed within the game interface.

If players encounter difficulties, two invaluable aids are available within the application:

<li>Receive an additional decoded letter.
</li><li>Get potential answers for an incomplete word based on previously decoded letters.
</li></ol>

A variety of dictionaries are accessible, including English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Arabic, Bulgarian, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Finnish, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Polish, Norwegian, Romanian, Serbian (Latin), Serbian (Cyrillic), Slovak, Slovene, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian with more languages slated for future updates.
